For 2012 displacement is up to 1441cc and there is more torque available and substantially more power at the upper-end over previous models.
 
With their latest electronics package, Kawasaki keeps you in control. Two selectable ride modes and three settings for the Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) to get the most out the bike in all situations.
 
For the first time, the ZX14 gets a back-torque limiting clutch (slipper clutch) to smooth out downshifts and ease corner entry.
 
Despite all the extra power and increased displacement the new ZX14R is now more fuel effiecient, thanks to advanced ECU programming so there is no compromise on driveability.
 
A new frame, sportier suspension, lighter wheels and sleeker bodywork all contribute to a sportier ride than previous models, yet ride position and comfort remain. A stronger, and longer swingarm increases high speed stability and helps get the extra power to the ground.
