The latest genration Speed Triple stays true to its heritage, but with new power and looks to stay ahead of its competitors. Engine improvements mean even more torque than before from the most powerful 1050cc triple in the line up. A new chassis ensures sharp, stable handling, and the whole package adds up to one seriously capable machine.

Bring in the R model, with race-spec equipment from the best in the business. and you're ready for anything. The Ohlins TTX36 rear shock is a top choice replacement for standard suspension on the race track. With full adjustment and the use of top quality materials the TTX shock will keep you planted and help you get all that power to the ground. Add the huge 43mm Ohlins NIX30 cartridge forks with adjustable rebound and compression damping and you'll ensure stable handling from corner entry to full power exit.
 
Brembo brakes - synonomous with performance, and supplier of stopping power to fastest bikes on the planet. The obvious choice the Speed Triple R. But rather than well proven units already used on the standard Speed Triple, the R takes it up another level, with top shelf Monobloc Radial Calipers at the front to give you the edge.
 
Minor changes to the unsprung weight of a motorcycle can make huge differences in performance. Knowing this, Triumph went to alloy wheel specialist PVM to provide lightweight wheels for the Speed Triple R. These stunning wheels take almost 2kg off the unsprung weight of the standard bike, meaning sharper handling and better braking. Finished with a special rim stripe and shown off nicely by the single sided swingarm.
 
No special Triumph would be complete without some special attention in the details. Carbon fibre radiator covers, rear hugger and tank panel are used to add to the race track ready look. Special R badged black alloy tapered bars, unique decals and the red rear subframe finish off the Speed Triple and make it instantly recognisable as a Triumph R model.
