The Triumph Rocket III has been unmatched in both engine size and torque figures from a mass produced bike since it was first launched in 2004. In its latest form, the Roadster, it widens its appeal with a new riding position and ergonomics that put you "in" the bike more than ever before. 
If you found the previous 2.3 litre three cylinder engine lacking, good news - it now makes even more power than before! Not just one or two, but a whopping 15% increase in torque over the previous model. The extra torque matched to the new mid-position footpegs make this the most exciting Rocket III yet.
With all that extra power, you'll need some serious brakes. Triumph's sophisticated ABS system, capable of over 100 calculations per second, is now fitted as standard. Add two 320mm brake discs with four piston calipers at the front and a massive 316mm rear brake disc with a two piston caliper at the back and you have braking system more than capable of bringing the Rocket to hault.
The Roadster is definitely more 'go' than 'show'. A combination of muscle and street fighter, with that unmistakable engine proudly displayed. More black, less chrome and a trim new look make this the meanest looking Rocket III ever.
