Triumph's new 2011 Sprint GT 1050 shifts the emphasis to the 'touring' side of 'sport touring'. Developed from the sporty Sprint ST 1050, the new GT offers a better ride for those who want to go further, with features that will keep you and your pillion in the saddle for longer.
Despite its new touring guise, the Sprint 1050 hasn't lost its bite. Thanks to a new ECU, the 1050cc three cylinder engine makes even more power and torque than before. Fuel delivery is also smoother and more efficient, with a fuel range exceeding its predecessor.
ABS brakes and a colour-matched two box pannier kit comes as standard, so its touring ready right out of the box. A new side-mounted exhaust system lowers the rear seat ensuring better passenger comfort as well as adding storage space underneath. A remote adjustable rear shock allows you to dial in your suspension settings with ease, fully loaded or out on your own.
The classic single sided swing arm has been lengthened for better stability and the front forks promise uprated control and dampening with new internals.
