Triumph's popular Tiger model took a bold new direction when it changed to the 1050cc motor in 2007. By introducing a 17" wheel combo front and rear, the Tiger gained sports-like handling and flickable steering like never before. In 2011 it continues to impress with its unique combination of upright riding position, comfortable spacious seat and sporty performance.
The Tiger is beautifully set up for two-up touring, with a generous pillion space and plenty of luggage carrying options. You'll enjoy the extra travel in the suspension and of course the characteristic torque of Triumph's brilliant 1050cc triple. More of a short distance rider? You'll find the Tiger addictive on your favourite curves, just point it where you want to go and use the 98Nm of torque on tap to pull you out of the corners. You wont want to lock it up during the week either, the Tiger 1050 is a great commuter with a comfortable upright riding position and nimble enough to get through the gaps.
