Many features that were formally only found in the World Superbike pit garages are now making their way down to mass produced machines that anyone can buy. We have seen variations of traction control and switchable fuel maps, even quickshifters as factory options from a number of brands, and now there is Aprilia Performance Ride Control (APRC).
 
APRC combines several key elements to bring the rider more control than ever before:

• ATC - Aprilia Traction Control

With eight different settings for controlling rear wheel slide under power. Calculations are based on bank angle and throttle aperture to give the rider plenty of grip in road situations, and just the right amount of slip on the track.

• AWC - Aprilia Wheelie Control

AWC keeps your front wheel under control, and aids the rider with a smooth landing should you get excess lift under acceleration.

• ALC - Aprilia Launch Control

WIth the press of a couple of buttons, all you need to do is wind the throttle wide open and ease out the clutch - ALC takes care of the rest!

• AQS - Aprilia Quick Shift

Allows smooth, instant upshifts, without the use of the clutch or the need to close the throttle.
 
By using an automotive inertial sensor platform with two gyrometers and two accelerometers the ECU gets real time information from the motorcycle to control the engine accordingly. Fully adjustable and with a "learning capacity" to adapt to different conditions (such as rear tyre size) APRC gives you the absolute best Aprilia has to offer whatever the conditions!
